How did we go 18 years without ever hearing of matcha? In case anyone out there is still left in the dark, matcha is a very fine, high quality green tea powder with an uncannily saturated coloration and equally pungent aroma. In other words, you’ll know matcha when you see/smell it. Although matcha is not your typical flavor, turns out you don’t have to look far to find it on dessert joint menus. Here’s a compilation of what we’ve scouted out thus far.
